During 1964-1970 I studied with Nina Kai Nielsen, a Danish painter. In the same period I assisted the artist Ib Spang Olsen who offered important encouragement and inspiration.
Through the eighties I developed a style by using special oils, wax and enamel paints, and exhibited my pictures in several galleries and art exhibitions.
From 1992 to 2008 I was the accountable for textile print design in Tone Barker Silk company. Here I discovered the immense possibilities and challenges of creating art on the beautiful, strong and living silk material.
During this time I became familiar with the many different materials and colouring techniques, on which my newer expressions are based.
